Blog Journal #5

 1) Working on the Web Design assignment taught me new skills like layout and color choices. I made sure everything looked balanced by spacing out images and text evenly. I enjoyed being creative, but it was sometimes hard to fit everything together. These skills will help me build nice websites for businesses in the future.

2) One creative way to use QR codes in the classroom is to create a scavenger hunt. Each QR code can be placed around the room, and when students scan them, they find clues or questions related to the lesson. This makes learning fun and interactive. For example, one QR code might lead to a math problem, while another could link to a video explaining a science concept. This way, students stay engaged and learn by exploring.

3) Case Study: Using Student Data for Teacher Evaluation

In this case, a school district uses student performance data to evaluate teachers. While the goal is to improve teaching, there are worries about privacy and fairness. Some teachers feel this data may not show their true efforts. To address this, I would suggest creating clear rules about how data is used and getting teachers involved in the process. This way, we can protect student privacy and make sure evaluations are fair and accurate.

  1. Your blog really does a nice job applying design principles like Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, and Proximity! The contrast between headings and body text helps highlight key points. The consistent fonts and layout create a good look for the overall website. The grouping of related content is honestly really effective and makes it easy to follow. Good job!
